    The Reds have had a whole week to recover after their thrilling 4-3 victory over league leaders Manchester City last time out.

    Star signing Virgil van Dijk was involved, having missed that game due to a tight hamstring, and Mohamed Salah was also back after suffering from illness earlier in the week.

    The victory over City saw Jurgen Klopp’s men overtake Chelsea and climb to third in the table, and while they remain 15 points behind Pep Guardiola’s league leaders, rivals Manchester United are within sight - just three points clear.

    Loris Karius, who Klopp has confirmed is now first choice goalkeeper, was also among those pictured in last night’s training session.
