Imphal, January 19 2018: Officer-in-Charge of Lamlai police station Devakumar organised Miyamgee Numit at Sawombung Thong Khong, Imphal East today.

Locals who took part in the programme highlighted various inconveniences faced by them at the village.

They drew the attention of the authority concerned to look into the frequent occurrence of flood at Sawombung due to breakage of river banks caused by rain.

They also urged the authority concerned to repair the deplorable Sawombung-Nungoi road at the earliest.
