Maharashtra Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao and his family had darshan of goddess Kanaka Durga atop Indrakeeladri here on Thursday.
Endowments Department Assistant Commissioner E.V. Pushpa Vardhan, Special Officer V. Trinath and temple trust board chairman Y. Gowranga Babu gave the Governor, his wife Vinodini and daughter Rajani a traditional welcome and presented them a portrait of the goddess and prasadam.
Board members Padma Sekhar, Kodela Suryalatha, Penchalaiah, Suseela and B. Prasad and Revenue Division Officer M. Chakrapani were among those present.
