Ujjain: Residents of Abhilasha Colony deprived of pure potable water

Ujjain: Leader of opposition in Ujjain Municipal Corporation, Rajendra Vashistha, has alleged that residents of Abhilasha colony were being deprived of pure potable water.
Following the complaint of residents, Vashishtha on Thursday visited the colony. The residents complained about proper cleanliness of sewer lines there, due to which filthy water was entering many houses in the colony. The opposition leader assured the people that the problem would be discussed with the municipal commissioner.
Meanwhile, corporator of the ward Himmat Singh Dewda stated that if the water supply was not regularized in couple of days, he would ‘gherao’ the public health engineering department, with support the colony residents.
