A Schriever man has been cleared as a suspect in a Christmas armed robbery at a home on Dupre Street in Bayou Blue, authorities said.
Hakeam Drane, 27, 113 Octavia St., was arrested Jan. 3 but released from the Lafourche Parish jail Jan. 12, Sheriff Craig Webre said in a news release.
Webre said detectives obtained video evidence that Drane was at a Thibodaux store at the time of the robbery, which was reported just after 10 p.m. Dec. 25.
A woman and two juveniles were in the home when three men entered, at least one with a gun, Webre said. The men stole two cellphones and ran away.
No other suspects have been publicly identified.
