Maria “Mary” L. Seiler, age 95, of Princeton, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018 at her home. She was born on June 18, 1922 in Newark, New Jersey, to Nazareno and Lina (Delguercio) Ditrolio. She married Alfred J. Seiler on June 29, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1997.
Mary worked as a secretary for Merck Pharmaceutical in Rahway, New Jersey, for many years. She enjoyed playing golf, along with many other outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Steve) Saunders of Princeton, Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Beckie Seiler of Princeton, Illinois; and two grandsons, Kyle Saunders of McHenry, Illinois, and Ken (Alicia) Saunders of Villa Park, Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her husband and one son, Karl Seiler.
Graveside services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 at Keller Cherry Valley Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
