After a week of ice and freezing temperatures, the weekend weather should offer some relief.

No more hard freezes to worry about: We'll see a high of about 55 on Friday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, expect high temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Nights will be warmer, too, with overnight lows mostly in the 50s.
