Former Giants closer Brian Wilson appears to have come out of hiding.

A beard-less Wilson is featured in season two’s second episode of the british automobile show, “The Grand Tour,” which airs on Amazon Prime. The show pits two celebrities against each other in a race. Both race a lap around a track, separately, and the driver with the fastest time is the winner.

While he’s sporting a new look, Wilson’s witty humor is still fully intact. Decked out in a purple blazer with yellow flowers and a pink shirt to go along with flashy pink shoes, Wilson describes the outfit as just an everyday look for him.

“This is a slow Tuesday, you should see me on the weekend,” Wilson said.

The former San Francisco fan favorite also recounts a couple of run-ins with the law. Wilson describes getting arrested at the age of 16, just two days after getting his license, for being out past curfew and trying to race away from a police officer in his 1994 Thunderbird. Wilson also claims to have been arrested after he bought a former police car and pretended to pull over a friend on the road. The real police took him in for impersonating an officer.

“It was a joke,” Wilson said.

Wilson comes up short in the race, losing to South African cricket player Kevin Pietersen by just a third of a second.

Wilson was a three-time All-Star with the Giants, amassing 171 saves over seven seasons and recording the final out in the 2010 World Series to bring the organization its first championship since 1954.
