Celebrity Big Brother thrown into chaos as massive technical hitch halts broadcast

TONIGHT'S Celebrity Big Brother double-eviction was interrupted by a gaffe.

evictions are guaranteed to be dramatic, as Emma Willis tells the housemates who has to pack their bags and be sent home.

But tonight's double-elimination was halted after the Borehamwood mansion suffered a major technical glitch.

To get CBB die-hards in the mood for the big event, the Big Brother UK Twitter page asked CBBBOTS host to ask those nominated for eviction questions about their time in the UK's most-watched house.

But the special was interrupted by difficulties with the live stream, halting the Periscope feed dead in its tracks.

Back on Channel 5, was the first housemates given the boot in the double eviction.

After bidding a quick goodbye to her fellow housemates, Rachel was greeted by a chorus of cheers from the crowds, and seemed thrilled to finally be out.

"It's more fun than you can imagine, but it's tough in there," she revealed in her exit interview.

The journalist, and Boris Johnson's sister, found herself unpopular with her housemates, particularly Khloe Kardashian's best friend .

In explosive scenes on last night's show, Malika slammed Rachel as "a hater", and said she was "two-faced".

Rachel also went to war with glamour girl over the washing up, which saw Jess break down in tears.

The 52-year-old blasted: "Some people have being doing a lot of work visibly, and some have been seen not washing up.

"I said I hadn't seen Jess wash up."

Rachel's cutting words saw Jess break down in the bedroom.

Rachel was joined by , who was previously one of the favourites of the competition.

But bookies think that this series of CBB is Courtney Act's to lose, with Ladbrokes offering odds of 5/6 for the drag queen to take the crown.

Surprisingly, Ann is second favourite to win, with solid odds of 3/1 to become the CBB queen.
