Emmerdale spoilers: Ned Porteous reveals why you need to be very afraid of Graham Foster

EMMERDALE star Ned Porteous has warned fans to be wary of Graham Foster; the elusive right-hand man of Joe Tate.

Fans of the ITV soap are still recovering form the bombshell that Tom Waterhouse is in fact the son of the late Chris Tate (played Peter Amory), Joe.

Since the big reveal, Joe’s revenge plot against the Dingles ahas already seen the millionaire deceive Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), take away her house and move into Home Farm.

However, Emmerdale spoilers next week have revealed Joe will be confronted by a masked gunman as his games come back to bite him.

Now, Ned has revealed that viewers have been overlooking Graham (Andrew Scarborough) this whole time, and they should stop now.

Graham is to be equally feared and respected

“Graham is to be equally feared and respected," Ned explained to Radio Times. "Joe knows him very well and what he's capable of, but they also mean a lot to each other.

"As much as they fight, they will ultimately want to stick together, but the issue will be their contrasting views on how things should be done. Graham is a moral compass for Joe, he doesn't always agree with the way Joe goes about doing things.

“But they are indebted to each other in various ways, which will come out soon.”

He continued: ”There's a lot more to come. There are many layers between them, they have known each other so long it surpasses just being a business relationship."

As for Joe’s relationship with Debbie, Ned suggested their could be a reconcilation on the cards, even if his co-star Charley said otherwise.

“Never say never. Joe admires Debbie in terms of her strength and determination – whether there's still a romantic attachment we'll just have to keep watching,” he teased.

"To have a chance to work more with Charley Webb would be great, but in terms of the plot I'm not sure. Playing Charley's enemy is just as [good as] playing her friend, so I'm happy either way!"

Coincidentally, Charley appeared on today’s edition of Lorraine, where she opened up about leaving the ITV soap.

Fortunately for fans, it doesn’t look like the young mum will be making a swift departure anytime soon as Charley said she “loves” working on the show.

Speaking on Lorraine today, she commented: “I love it, I love going in, I love all of the people and like I say, I’m challenged every single day.

“And, while the children are still little, it really suits my life. I love going home to my kids every single night.

“I don’t think you can put any sort of price on that, I think it’s really important.”

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
