Golf course designers: We need more bunkers down hills please.
Grayson Murray - known for being controversial on social media - found his ball in the sand during the first round of the CareerBuilder Challenge at PGA West Stadium Course. But because it was down a hill, he did what everyone (pro golfer or otherwise) should do. He slid down:
Here was his thought process via the Desert Sun:
"I looked down. I was like, man, I can't walk down it," Murray said. "They've got like a little ramp you can walk down, but my caddie was like, dude, just slide down. I was like, no way."
Murray thought about it again, then sat down at the top of the hill and slid down the embankment covered in dormant Bermuda grass.
"I didn't think it was doing to be that smooth of a ride, but it was pretty good," Murray laughed.
To cap the moment, Murray hit his bunker shot to just two feet from the cup for a tap-in birdie-4.
Or to sum it up: WHEEEEEEEEEEE!
