Australian operator Optus has unveiled the first of four Optus Stadium signs measuring 42 x 5.8 metres that will hang on the facade of the Stadium. Crafted by local Perth sign-makers Kingman Visual, each sign weighs more than 8 tonnes, and is bolted into place with over 240 bolts and at night will be lit by more than 1050 energy efficient LED lights. The remaining three signs will be installed in the months ahead.

To celebrate the opening of Optus Stadium this Sunday, Optus is giving away a double pass for one winner and a friend to attend five events of their choice from the line-up of sport and entertainment events being held at Optus Stadium in 2018. Competition entry will be through the Optus Stadium app, which is now available to download for free through the Apple App store and Google Play store. The competition is open until 12 March.

In addition to the Optus Stadium naming rights, Optus confirmed in November it has almost completed a 3-year AUD 275 million program of work to expand and improve network coverage across Western Australia.
