Alexis Sanchez is on the brink of joining the Red Devils after agreeing personal terms.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s move in the opposite direction is said to be delaying a swap deal but all parties are confident a move will go through.

With Sanchez’s move imminent and an announcement expected soon, Arsenal fans have begun to say their farewells on social media.

And Arsenal Fan TV star Troopz paid an hilarious tribute to the Chilean as he posted a picture of himself with the 29-year-old.

The caption read: ”Yh [sic] I said he can f*** off, but you say things in the heat of the moment when emotions are all over the place!!!

Troopz’s post clearly got attention from Sanchez as the attacker replied by giving the post a ‘like’ followed by two crying face emojis - sparking a frenzy among United fans, who took it as confirmation he was leaving Arsenal.

The Chilean further fuelled speculation further over his future by later deleting his comment.

“Sanchez really liked Troopz goodbye post on Instagram, it’s really happening,” one fan said.

Another supporter said: “I can’t believe Alexis Sanchez liked that Troopz tweet. Saying goodbye and then he commented.” 

Meanwhile, this afternoon Jose Mourinho confirmed he expects Sanchez’s deal to go through but was unsure why it was being delayed. 

“There is no point in trying to hide or deny, but it is not done at all," said Mourinho.

"I think clearly everybody knows that we are there and especially when Arsenal manager speaks so clearly like he did."
