Eagles tweeted a video Thursday night showing The Roots performing “Fly, Eagles, Fly” as a warmup for the halftime show at Sunday’s NFC Championship game.

The Eagles announced Thursday night that The Roots will play at halftime during the NFC Championship game Sunday.

The team took to Twitter with a short video of the Philadelphia hometown band performing the Eagles’ victory song, “Fly, Eagles, Fly.”

“Three-time Grammy Award winners, @theroots, are warming up for their halftime performance during Sunday’s NFC Championship Game! ,” the organization tweeted.

The fan reaction in the replies to the tweet was overwhelmingly enthusiastic.

“This just brought a huge smile to my face! Thank you to the Roots, one of my favorite bands for nearly 30 years,” wrote user @GDubU493.
