Pam Manke, an employee for United Community & Family Services Healthcare, recently was certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The certificate is a postgraduate degree, where Manke had to obtain a master’s degree and pass a national exam. BCBAs are trained clinicians in the field of behavioral science that aid individuals by developing behavior plans, setting functional living goals and assisting in the improvement of transition skills essential in day-to-day life.

Due to her diverse and comprehensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders, Manke was one of five clinicians selected by the Global Autism Project to travel to Chandigarh, India, in February.
