Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a drug dealer along with around 13,000 pieces of yaba tablets on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Mohipal area of Feni district on Friday afternoon.

On information that detainee Md Monir Hossain, 40, along with the yaba tablets, was going to Dhaka from Chittagong.

A team of RAB-7 halted the private car carrying Monir in Mohipal area and recovered around 13,675 yaba tablets from the car.

RAB-7 Camp Captain Shafayat Jamil Fahim confirmed the matter at a media briefing.
