Adnerys De Jesus and the Greenwich High School gymnastics team continued their standout season, defeating Wilton, 143.25-133.3, Thursday at YWCA Greenwich.
As she did in the Cardinals’ first two meets, De Jesus, a senior, won every event. She earned a first-place score of 9.6 on the vault. Teammate Elizabeth Marino placed second, while Kelsey Fedorko of GHS and Wilton’s Jessica Olin tied for third in the vault.
De Jesus won the bars (9.5), followed by Fedorko, a junior, (9.0), and Marino (8.9). On the balance beam, De Jesus registered a winning score of 9.65, while Fedorko finished second (9.05) and Marino placed third (8.6).
The floor exercise saw De Jesus score a 9.6 and Fedorko earn a score of 9.2. Olin finished with a 9.0. De Jesus had an all-around score of 38.35, while Fedorko scored a 36.35 and Marino tallied a 35.25 points.
With the victory, the defending FCIAC and state champion Cardinals improved their record to 3-0.
