Imphal, January 18 2018: In order to promote good health and well being among students, Tulihal Company of 5th Battalion The Jammu & Kashmir Rifles (Tulihal Battalion) organised a day long Medical Camp cum Health Awareness Capsule on 17 January 2018 under the aegis of 9 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South) at Azad English Medium School, Maitram.

Approximately 200 students and 20 teachers of the school were examined during the camp and were provided with prescription as well as free medicines by the unit medical officer.

The Medical officer also educated students about good habits and precautions for good health and hygiene.

The school authorities were extremely grateful to the unit for this earnest endeavour and requested for more such camps in near future for benefit of the students as well as the community.
