Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli turned 46 yesterday and one name stood out in his long list of well wishers — Sachin Tendulkar. The cricket legend sent out a birthday wish to Kambli, his school mate, via social media, alongside the above picture: "Tum jiyo hazaaron saal aur saal ke din ho hazaar. Wishing you a very happy birthday, @vinodkambli349."
The two friends reportedly fell out when Kambli said on reality TV that he did not get Tendulkar's support. Then, Tendulkar did not acknowledge Kambli in his retirement speech. However, recently the duo buried the hatchet and got back together. Yesterday, Kambli posted a video of him celebrating his birthday with Tendulkar and other friends at the MCA-BKC clubhouse.
In the video, Kambli is seen cutting a cake after which Tendulkar takes a slice off and places it on the birthday boy's bald head while the group bursts into laughter.
