   Hi, I am looking for a hardtail/short-travel 29er for a trip this spring. Needs to fit some-one 6-6'2 ( will be sharing with my son in due course). More XC than enduro and preferably 120mmm up front. Budget of £1500 for bike but happy to look at frame only. Cheers

   Sorry but Smuggler, Tallboy and Banshee look a bit butch for me. Thinking more along the lines of an epic/anthem/spark/spearfish for FS frame.

    I am thinking of selling my carbon scott scale carbon frame in XL. It is for 100mm front fork but has a 69.5 or something head angle which means it is a bit more forgiving in the techy stuff than other xc hardtails and feels very neutral. I want to sell it for £600 with a brand new xt bb and ritchey headset. I also have the original stem and bars and saddle to complete the picture and a new seatpost to go with it for a bit extra.

    I have a Large Niner RIP9 frame 2012 if you're interested. Its a bit small for me at 6'4" and I've gone for more travel with a Rocket Max. New bearings, rides well.

    Also have Hope Enduro wheelset and Pike forks if you're interested in those?
