Roland Lee Matthews, 88, of Winnebago, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at a Sioux City hospital.
A celebration of life service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Walthill, Neb. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.
Roland is survived by his wife, Marie Matthews of Winnebago; children, Sherree (Dennis) Peters of Lake Park, Iowa, Terry (Cheri) Matthews of Winnebago, and Keith (Ann) Matthews of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Melissa Zorn, Denise Meyer, Branden Norris, Katie Johnson, Shelby Iverson, Deni Adams, Jena Peters, Kyle Matthews, Ashlie Matthews, Jordan Matthews, Collin Matthews, Lauren Matthews, Dylan Matthews and Chett Matthews; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorraine Matthews; sister, Joyce Joan Lind; and son, Gary (Ann) Matthews.
