New Concord Church of Christ

Baked Steak Dinner
The Lore City United Methodist Church will have a baked steak dinner on Thursday, Jan. 25 beginning at 4 p.m. in the church basement. Dinner includes baked steak, homemade pies and cakes. Cost is a $7 donation. Everyone is welcome.

Pastor Jim Gibson will be bringing the message, "Mission Possible," with scripture taken from the book of John 1: 43-51. Sunday school for all ages is during our worship service, after our children's message. Adult Sunday School is at 8:30 a.m., in the basement, with Dave. The church is located 6 miles out on Rix Mills Road, the red door and red steeple church in downtown Rix Mills. Pastor Jim says, "See you Sunday!"
Buffalo-Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Worship service at Buffalo-Cumberland Presbyterian Church is at 11:15 a.m. Everyone is welcome! Pastor Jim Gibson will be bringing the message, "Mission Possible," with scripture taken from the book of John 1: 43-51.There will be a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Feb. 9 from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Third Thursday meals will start this month on Jan. 18. There will be homemade bean and ham soup, homemade corn bread and homemade bread sticks as well as homemade pies. Cost is by donation. Card Class will be Feb. 5, 1 to 3 p.m. Pastor Jim says, "See you Sunday!"
