MIDDLEBURY – Gordon A. Frohn, 82, passed away peacefully Jan. 17, 2018, at Waterbury Hospital with family by his side. He was the loving husband of Selma (Samaha) Frohn.

Mr. Frohn was born on May 20, 1935, in Waterbury. He was the son of Frederick and Lee (Putetti) Frohn, both of Waterbury.

He is survived by his children, Eric Frohn and his wife, Becky, Susan Corona and her husband, Bernie, Damian Bartholomew, and Danielle Mahler and her husband, Philip. He is also survived by his six beloved grandchildren, Zachary Frohn, Emily Bartholomew, Gabrielle Bartholomew, Benjamin Mahler, Jacob Mahler and Sydney Mahler.

Gordon enjoyed a business career that involved many different ventures including his own business refinishing antiques and working at The Mayflower Inn in Washington. However, most recently, it was his job at Home Depot in Waterbury that he truly enjoyed.

A memorial service will be noon Saturday at St. John of the Cross Church, 1263 West St., Middlebury.

At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
