Manchester United are closing in on their first January signing in the form of Arsenal man Sanchez. 

It is understood the Chile international will be in Manchester this evening to undergo a medical with the club desperate to announce his signing before their clash with Burnley this weekend. 

Sanchez has already agreed terms with the Red Devils and his move to Old Trafford would see Henrikh Mkhitaryan join Arsenal as part of the swap deal.
