Posts for disabled to be identified in Haryana

Haryana Government on Thursday directed all departments to constitute an expert committee to identify posts in their establishments which can be held by persons with disabilities in respect of reserved vacancies and also, to undertake periodic review of such identification exercise.

The Chief Secretary  DS Dhesi has issued these directions to all Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Heads of Departments, Chief Administrators and Managing Directors of Boards, Corporations and Public Sector Undertakings, Registrars of Universities in the state and Registrar General of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

They have also been directed to send the requisition to concerned recruiting agencies to fill up the posts meant for persons with benchmark disabilities, said an official spokesman.

He said that the State Government has already decided to provide three per cent horizontal reservation to persons with disabilities in case of direct recruitment as well as in promotions of Group A, B, C and D employees of the State Government.
