Indore: In a fresh development in the case of blank answer book recovery from DAVV evaluation centre, officer on special duty (OSD) at the centre Raghav Jaiswal, who was under scanner for his suspected role, was removed from the BEd desk on Thursday. Giving a twist to the story the official however passed the buck to another official claiming the answer books reached the centre a month before he was made in charge of the desk.

On Thursday, Jasiwal was served a notice in the case after it was suspected that the answer books had reached the centre to be filled with right answers and further replaced with answer books of some select students. Replying to the notice, Jaiswal reportedly claimed that he was no way involved in the case and rather, the answer books were carried inside a bundle of BEd course answer scripts to “reach” the evaluation centre.

“In his reply, Jasiwal stated that BEd course answer books came to the DAVV for evaluation in June, 2017 when Vishwavamitra Tiwari was in charge of the BEd desk at the evaluation centre. One of the bundles contained some blank answer scripts which were then removed from the lot and the rest was sent for evaluation,” sources said.

“Jasiwal further claimed that he was made in charge of BEd desk only in July whereas blank answer books were discovered in June, 2017,” the sources informed. Meanwhile, DAVV executive council member KK Tiwari demanded thorough investigation into the matter by Special Task Force (STF). “An emergency meeting in the matter should be called and the case should be handed over to STF,” Tiwari said in a letter to VC.
