However, she claims the three-hour long chat will be cut to just over half an hour, focusing on her body and boyfriends rather than her philanthropic pursuits and political activism.

Anderson, 50, wrote on her blog: "You won't see this in the final edit. The interview I did was three hours long and it will be cut down to 37 minutes.

"I feel it was reduced to mainly my body parts and men."

The mother-of-two complained that journalist Morgan cut out large sections of the interview where she spoke about her campaigns against animal cruelty and support for political refugee and WikiLeaks whistleblowing website founder Julian Assange.

She also spoke about interviews with political allies such as WikiLeaks journalist Joseph Farrell. She continued: "My friends who were interviewed had a lot to say – so did I. But I can't be shocked.

"When I did the interview in front of a live audience, they showed very little of Joseph Farrell which I felt set the tone.

"This might not get in depth at all.

"But it's ITV. Piers is notorious for trying to make everyone happy with a twist of tabloid journalism.

"He knows his audience. I just wish differently. Times are changing. People are more aware than ever. Keep up, Stay tuned."

Morgan, 52, dismissed Anderson's allegations saying that she had no complaints after the filming and had not even seen the finished episode yet.

The broadcaster said: "We filmed two months ago and it's a fantastic show.

"Pamela thanked me profusely for the interview afterwards.

"She hasn't seen the final edit and it's a very fair and balanced portrait of her entire life."

He accused her of hypocrisy, pointing out that she regularly shares provocative photographs of herself on the internet.

He said: "As for her body parts, Miss Anderson's social media posts regularly feature a celebration of just her world-famous body parts, so I am surprised she would take exception to me discussing them."

Anderson has been outspoken about her support for Assange, who is wanted for questioning in Sweden over a sex allegation and has been living in the Ecuadorian embassy in London since 2012.

He has had regular visits from Anderson, who has talked about their close relationship.

In April last year she posted on her website: "My relationship with Julian – it's no secret. He is one of my favourite people. Julian is trying to free the world by educating it. It is a romantic struggle. I love him for this."

Australian Assange, 46, has said of Anderson: "She's an attractive person with an attractive personality and whipsmart."

He fears extradition to the US for questioning over WikiLeaks' activities and has been granted Ecuadorian citizenship after seeking political asylum.

The South American country wants him to be given diplomatic immunity so he can leave the embassy but Britain has refused.
