SOMERSWORTH — Salmon Falls Family Healthcare and ROAD to a Better Life will be hosting a celebration of life in remembrance of Dr. Charles Dreibelbis on Friday, Jan. 26, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
According to a statement issued by PMC Medical Group, the event will be held at Pinewood Medical Center located at 255 Route 108 in Somersworth. All are invited and welcome to attend this celebration of life.
“Dr. Dreibelbis was a trusted primary care physician at Salmon Falls Family Healthcare and a dedicated, highly respected provider in our ROAD to a Better Life program,” the statement reads.

Dreibelbis died Dec. 17 at the age of 49. The PMC Medical Group confirmed on Dec. 19 that he passed away during the weekend. They could not provide any details or cause but issued a brief statement.
"It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of one of our beloved physicians, Dr. Charles Dreibelbis. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time," the statement reads. "Dr. Dreibelbis was a great friend to many within the PMC Medical Group Family. He was a trusted primary care physician at Salmon Falls Family Healthcare and a dedicated, highly respected provider in our ROAD to a Better Life program. His loss will be difficult for the many patients who came to appreciate his knowledge, humor, and compassion. "
Dreibelbis was interviewed in October 2017 for a story published in Seacoast Sunday about the success he and his team experienced with medically assisted treatment for drug addiction.
