The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was specially launched for the upcoming Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. All IOC, POCOG staff and Olympians will get the new Note 8 for free, supplying 4,000 units of this device. The Korean tech company hopes that this new tablet will help those involved in the Olympic Winter Games to document the incredible event.

The device will feature a dual-sensor camera which will help staff and athletes take exquisite pictures. The tablet has a massive 6.3-inch screen and also includes an S Pen. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a new design, featuring a shiny white glass back together with the Olympic logo. Furthermore, Samsung will also include a wide collection of wallpapers that will feature the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics.

Athletes will use the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to document the event

Each of these devices will include pre-installed Olympic apps which should be useful for every user. Samsung has also thought about the Paralympians who will also receive the new Note 8. Those who will participate in the Winter Paralympic Games will be able to use the new tablet to document this event.

Their tablets will feature Paralympics-themed cases to highlight the role of smart devices that have supported those with disabilities. The tech company had also sponsored the Olympic Games back in 1988. Back then, it was a local sponsor for the Seoul Olympic Games. Hence, Samsung became the Worldwide Olympic Partner at the Nagano Winter Games. The company has distributed 12,000 Galaxy S7 Edge gadgets to athletes at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
