Bittium awarded Mexican govt mobile device contract

Bittium, a Finnish provider of communications and connectivity products, has been awarded a contract by Mexican government authorities for the delivery of mobile devices developed for a satellite communication system. The total value of the first orders amounts to EUR 2 million and the hybrid devices manufactured in Finland will be delivered by the end of the first quarter, said Bittium.

The company has also opened a branch office in Mexico to enable customer support for local customers and to contribute to sales and marketing in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
