Due to inclement weather, Pine Bluff School District rescheduled the Jan. 18 literacy seminar where church leaders were invited.
Entitled, “How to Engage Kids to Get Them Reading on Grade Level,” the session will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the board room of the school district central office, 512 S. Pine St.
Pine Bluff Superintendent Michael Robinson and his staff invite pastors and church leaders to the seminar.
“Children are indeed our future, and they need our help in order to become all that God has called them to be,” according to a news release from the Rev. Edna Morgan, education chairwoman of the Faith Community Coalition Ministerial Alliance.
Participants are asked to RSVP to Rev. Edna Morgan, at edna.morgan@arumc.org or 870-692-2400 as soon as possible.
