Police say the 20-year-old has a "violent felony record."
CANTON A wanted young man with a gun in his pants and "a prior violent felony" record was arrested at his home early Thursday morning, according to Stark County Jail records.
Harley M. Spencer, 20, of the 2000 block of Holland Court SW, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Thursday on a misdemeanor theft warrant and felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and having weapons under disability.
Jail records said that when officers went to speak to him, they found him with a gun "concealed in his waistband," and that he has a "prior violent felony" criminal record. Details about his record were not listed.
Spencer remained in the jail later Thursday morning, held without bond pending court hearings.
