EMERYVILLE — A man suspected of using his cup holder to hold a Styrofoam cup filled with marijuana also appears to have been carrying a gun and stolen property with him, police said Thursday.

Officers arrested Cameron Gordon, 25, of Oakland, on suspicion of possessing stolen property, carrying a loaded firearm  in public, and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle after pulling him over in the 5300 block of San Pablo Avenue around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.

According to police, the car smelled like marijuana and the officer noticed the Styrofoam cup filled with weed. The officer explored further and next found a loaded .22-caliber revolver, police said.

Police did not say why they initially pulled over Gordon near the 53rd Street intersection.
