Collin Anderson scored 23 points and St. Scholastica broke open a tight game at halftime to defeat Northland College 89-70 in a UMAC game Wednesday night in Ashland.
Anderson made 6 of 10 from the field and canned all eight of his free-throw attempts in just 22 minutes of action. Zach Dahlman (12 points) and three others scored in double figures for the Saints (9-7 overall, 5-3 UMAC), who only led 45-43 at halftime.
CSS made 11 of 24 of its 3-point shots, with Anderson and Jarod Wilken each hitting three.
Brandon Galland led the Lumberjacks (6-10, 3-5) with 20 points, while Harrison Lucas added 17.
