SENECAVILLE – The Richland Township Board of Trustees recently conducted its 2018 organizational and regular meetings.
Trustee Betty Duche’ was elected president/chair, as motioned by Larry Roe. Trustees then elected Larry Roe vice president/vice chair, as motioned by Robert Lasko.
Trustees discussed and approved 2018 meeting rules, dates and times. The trustees will continue to meet at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Richland Township Building.
In other business, trustees discussed and approved annual temporary appropriations, cemeteries charges, personnel policies, volunteer fire department contracts, distribution percentage for trustee compensation, cemetery mowing and an Ascent Resources lease letter.
Jeff Guiler and Tom Warner were appointed fire prevention officers.
Also discussed were F550 repairs, Dover hydraulic repairs, installing a block heater in the Case backhoe, and ordering more stone.
In routine business, trustees approved December meeting minutes, payment of bills and monthly financial report presented by Fiscal Officer John Apperson.
No visitors or guests attended the meeting.
