It's been 12 years since their gold-selling debut album All We Know Is Falling', but Paramore are back - in a big way.
The Nashville three-piece bring 'Tour Three' to Manchester Arena this weekend, led by frontwoman and driving force Hayley Williams.
Not just a pin up for aspiring rock stars and feminist icon, she's also a smart business operator.
Williams landed herself a spot in the Forbes Magazine 30 under 30, thanks to her mix of musical talent and commercial know-how.
At just 28, Williams is the boss of her own hair dye company, Good Dye Young. But the best bit is that $1 from a sale of each pot if dye gets donated to a not-for-profit organisation with creativity at its heart - a different one for each colour.
The philanthropist is impressive, although the path to social justice does get clumsy occasionally.
Last year, CityLife was offered an interview with Williams, but was told that she would only talk to a female journalist.
I refused.
Williams' camp claimed it was because she wanted to allow women a chance to be given chances in the workplace. Ironically, the interview would have been carried out by one of the all-female CityLife staff team anyway.
Good intentions, badly executed.
No such worries on the music front though. After a few line up changes along the way, former drummer Zac Farro is back in the fold and After Laughter has been winning rave reviews from fans and critics.
Tickets are still on sale for Friday night's gig, priced from £29.50 (booking and facility fees apply). You can buy them from eventim or Ticketmaster.
