DOVER, Del.
Delaware Gov. John Carney says he will address economic development, improving the state's school and strengthening Wilmington communities during his State of the State address.
Carney will deliver his remarks to a joint assembly of lawmakers Thursday afternoon.
The governor told WDEL ahead of the address that while the state is in a better fiscal situation than it was during his first year in office, there's still a lot of work to do.
Carney says it's import to sustain investments in "our economy, our quality of life and in our schools."
