The Zwaanendael Women’s Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, hosted its monthly meeting at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare.
The club took a tour of the building and presented a scholarship to nursing student Kelly Staples. The Zwaanendael Scholarship is presented annually to a nursing student who has achieved academic excellence during their first year.
Staples is a graduate of Laurel High School and lives in Laurel. She plans to continue her education and obtain her Bachelor of Science in nursing through the University of Delaware.
