

Tripura to go to Polls on Feb 18; Meghalaya And Nagaland on Feb 27: EC

New Delhi: The Election Commission on Thursday announced the schedule for Meghalaya, Tripura and Nagaland assembly elections.
Tripura to go to polls on February 18; Meghalaya and Nagaland on February 27, AK Joti, Chief Election Commissioner of India, said.
He further added the counting for the three States will be on March 3.
The term of the Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura legislative assemblies is ending on March 6, March 13 and March 14 respectively.
The strength of the three assemblies is 60 members each.
