Weapon Display organized at Moreh
11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a Weapon Display for civilians at Chavangphai village, Moreh on 15 Jan 2018.
The weapon display was organised with an aim of increasing awareness about the weapons held by Assam Rifles and to motivate the young minds to join the folds of the Indian Armed Forces.
Around 289 civilians including 82 males, 95 females and 112 children witnessed the display. After the display post Commander of Chavangphai had an interaction with the youth and the youth were made aware of the career potentials in the Assam Rifles.
