Jack Antonoff addresses Lorde relationship rumours

Jack Antonoff has had enough of rumours he's dating Kiwi pop star Lorde.

The producer and Bleachers front man took to Twitter overnight to address those that thought he'd quickly moved on after his break-up with Lena Dunham.

He wrote: "Normally i would never address rumors but I resent having the most important friendships and working relationships in my life reduced to dumb hetero normative gossip.

"Those relationships are deeply important and sacred. with that said, I'm not seeing anyone. lol."

His tweet has been "liked" by Lorde.

It's likely to silence those that believed Antonoff was dating Lorde following his break-up with Girls creator Dunham after five years together.

The rumours were sparked when Dunham deleted an Instagram post taken of Antonoff and Lorde working on Melodrama in their New York apartment.

Antonoff and Lorde are close friends, working on Melodrama for more than a year together after meeting randomly at a Grimes concert.

The album was praised by many as the best of 2017.
