Southeast High School girls basketball standout Hannah Schill has transferred to Archbishop Hoban.

The sophomore was one of the top basketball players in the Portage Trail Conference, earning second team All-PTC County Division honors in 2016-17 and playing a key role on a Pirates team that captured last year’s PTC County Division title — the program’s fifth consecutive — and advanced to its first-ever district championship game.

Schill was a tremendous all-around player in the PTC, with a strong shot, great speed and an elite ability to get to the hoop. The sophomore also ran cross country and track and field for Southeast.

Pirates basketball coach Jenny Gamertsfelder and the Schill family declined to comment for this article.
