Simon Cowell took at swipe at the comedian during auditions for the new series of Britain’s Got Talent in Blackpool.
During the opening day of auditions at the Blackpool Opera House, the 58-year-old music mogul asked people how they would spend the prize money if they were to win the show.
The question seemed to frustrate fellow judge David Walliams, who said: “It’s all about money with Simon.”
But Simon didn’t let the remark slip and hit back at the 46-year-old about his 50 per cent pay rise demand.

Then Amanda Holden, 46, intercepted and suggested they needed a swear box after Simon’s behaviour.
During auditions Simon’s famously critical side came out and he told one act: “My son would love that and listen to it on repeat, I’d end up wanting to kill you.”
