Tom Brady dealing with hand injury as Pats prep for AFC Championship

The Patriots looked like they were getting healthy at the right time as they finished last week with only six players on their injury report. Tom Brady wasn't included. Now, that has changed.

FOXBORO — The Patriots looked like they were getting healthy at the right time as they finished last week with only six players on their injury report.

Tom Brady wasn’t included.

Now, that has changed.

Brady’s scheduled press conference on Wednesday was canceled when a Patriots staff member said the quarterback was currently meeting with the team’s medical staff.

Soon after, he was listed on the injury report with right hand injury.

This isn’t the first time Brady has pushed a scheduled press conference due to receiving treatment.

All season long, the quarterback has talked on either Thursday or Friday when he’s either missed a Wednesday practice or taken a maintenance day.

Typically, Brady talks every Wednesday, but this season it has been different due to him dealing with his Achilles and left shoulder injury.

Brady was seen at the start of practice on Wednesday. He was listed as a limited participant when the report was released in the afternoon.
