Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a busy day ahead in Ahmedabad when he arrives Wednesday morning with his host Narendra Modi for a day’s visit.
The two leaders will hold a roadshow and visit Sabarmati Ashram after landing in Ahmedabad around 10.20am and later in the day will go to iCreate centre at Bavla city and a centre for agriculture in Sabarkantha.
The 8- km roadshow will begin from the airport and end at the Sabarmati Ashram. The city, especially the stretch from the airport to the Sabarmati Ashram, has been decked up to welcome Netanyahu and his wife Sara.
Netanyahu will present Modi a special gift -- the Gal-Mobile water desalination and purification vehicle the two leaders rode at Israel’s Olga beach last year during the Indian Prime Minister’s visit.

9.26am: Netayanhu will leave for Mumbai in the afternoon.
9.25am: The two leaders would then proceed for a Sabarkantha-based centre of excellence for agriculture established by Israel. They will inaugurate a research facility for cultivation of dates in Kutch by remote control from Sabarkantha.
9.24am: From the Ashram, Modi and Netanyahu would go to ‘iCreate’, an autonomous centre of excellence near Bavla town close to the city, chief minister Vijay Rupani had said earlier.
9.23am: PM Modi and his Israeli counterpart are scheduled to visit the Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for a long time.
