With numerous games postponed because of bad weather, there are no changes in the ThisWeek Super 7 boys basketball poll and just one in the girls rankings compared to a week ago.
Only two teams ranked in last week’s girls Super 7, Reynoldsburg and Westerville Central, lost over the past week.
The Raiders, who remain at No. 5, get a pass considering their loss came against defending Division I state champion Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame 56-45 on Jan. 14 in the Classic in the Country at Berlin Hiland.
Westerville Central lost 55-44 on Jan. 13 to Westerville South, which is the OCC-Buckeye Division leader and takes over at No. 7 for the Warhawks.
In the boys rankings, only the top two teams, Pickerington North and Dublin Coffman, even played over the past seven days.
The No. 1-ranked Panthers will have a challenging matchup Jan. 19 when they play host to Pickerington Central.
Another key matchup to watch will take place Jan. 23 when No. 7 Ready visits Wellington, which now is in Division III after a Division IV state runner-up finish last season.
