Vodafone Qatar reaches 1.39 mln subscribers in December

Vodafone Qatar said its mobile customers reached 1.39 million in the three months to 31 December 2017, according to the Gulf Times. Postpaid customers grew 9 percent to 320,000, thanks to the popularity of its Flex plans, a spokesperson said.. The company disclosed total compensation to network vendors of QAR 90 million for the outage in July 2017, comprising QAR 25 million in credit notes an QAR 65 million in credit vouchers.

Vodafone Qatar voted to change its financial year end from 31 March to 31 December at its Extraordinary General Assembly meeting on 18 October 2017.  Accordingly, its audited financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2017 will be issued before 31 March 2018.
