Amanda Holden, 46, dismisses THAT Britain’s Got Talent dress backlash: ‘It’s a good thing’
AMANDA HOLDEN has hinted that her upcoming Britain’s Got Talent dresses will be riskier than ever after her wardrobe sparked controversy last year.
The talent show judge came close to exposing her bottom and cleavage in an array of eye-popping frocks for the live instalments of the ITV programme.
However, in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the 46-year-old admitted that all the fuss is a “good thing” despite many viewers complaining to Ofcom.
When asked if the attention ever concerns her, Amanda commented: “No, because I’m in control, I’ve got an incredible stylist, everybody has a say in it.”
The actress continued: “I try clothes on at home and Chris [Hughes, husband] has a look at stuff, my kids have a look at stuff… it’s a massive collaboration. There’s never anything that is not thought out.”

Amanda Holden, who started filming for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent yesterday, said she was flattered by the reaction because she’s an “old lady really”.
“I’m heading towards my 50s, so it’s amazing – anybody talking about it in any negative or positive way is a good thing,” she said.
Amanda’s £11,250 “stripper” dress, which saw her go braless for the backless creation, became the most complained about TV moment of 2017.
More than 600 complaints were recorded after she appeared in the dangerously low-cut black gown, first posting a snap on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Amanda - who regularly updates her 618,000 followers - also spoke out about whether she reads the online comments from users.
“Gosh, no!” she added. “I absolutely love social media, I’m always all over Instagram and Twitter, but I hardly ever read comments that are back to me.
“I think that’s just… it can go either way. I’ve got the skin of a rhino and I think, what’s the point?
“I’m just going to put my stuff out there and I don’t need to see everyone’s reaction.”

Her remarks come just hours after she reunited with Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams for the first round of auditions in Blackpool.
Amanda caused a stir on the Union Jack carpet thanks to her mostly sheer red dress, that did little to hide her incredible figure.
The Cutting It star flashed her lacy lingerie in the floaty ensemble, which she teamed with matching suede heels.
Britain’s Got Talent is set to return to ITV on April 14.
