Former Barcelona and Brazil forward Ronaldinho retires, agent confirms
FORMER Barcelona forward Ronaldinho has retired from football, his agent has confirmed.

Ronaldinho who enjoyed success during his career, has made the decision to hang up his boots at the age of 37.
After leaving Brazilian outfit Fluminense in 2015, Ronaldinho has been a free agent ever since as he's been unable to find another club to play for.
And Roberto Assis, who is Ronaldinho’s agent and brother, announced the news.
Assis has confirmed preparations are being made to honour the Brazil legend with a special event after the World Cup finishes in Russia.
“He's quit football, it's over," Assis told Brazilian paper O Globo.
Of course, we're also arranging something with the Brazil national team as well
"Let's now do something nice [his farewell], big as it should be, after the Russia World Cup, maybe in August.
“We'll do some events now around Brazil, Europe and Asia.
“Of course, we're also arranging something with the Brazil national team as well."

Ronaldinho enjoyed a glittering career, lifting La Liga twice with Barcelona as well as picking up a Champions League winners’ medal in 2006.
On the international stage for Brazil, he enjoyed his finest moment in 2002 when he got his hands on the World Cup.
He also won the Copa America and Confederations Cup during his time with the Samba Boys.
