
Assam finance minister, Himanta Biswa talking to reporters in Agartala
Assam finance minister and BJP's election in-charge in Tripura Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the CPM is collecting forced donation from the employees and pensioners for election fund. "We will lodge a compalint against the CPM before election commission of India (ECI) tomorrow," he said.
Biswa alleged that the party is collectiong rupees three thousand from every employee and pensioner of the state as election fund and they have collected Rs. 450 crore from them.
He said that BJP will lodge FIR against Bijan Dhar, state CPM secretary for extortion.
He also said that if any employee is willingly paying donation for the CPM then he must be their supporter and should not be deployed for poll duty in the state.
Biswa criticized the ruling left front for not implementing the seventh pay commission in the state and instead are collecting forced donation from the employees.
He also slammed the Congress for covertly supporting the CPM. "I came to know that Rahul Gandhi has asked the state Congress leaders to contest the upcoming assembly elections only on 15 seats. For the remaining assembly seats he (Rahul Gandhi) has asked them to support the CPM," Biswa said while talking to reporters here.
He said that the Congress is playing as a "B team"for the CPM in the state.
He also alleged that there still around 1200 bogus voters registered in the voter list and they would lodge a complaint regarding this before the ECI.
